Delete your Bubble Punks account
Bubble Punks, by Immersia Labs LLC
The quickest way: in the app
- Open Bubble Punks and tap your player name at the top right of the home screen to open your Profile. (Don't see your name? Tap PLAY ONLINE and sign in the way you did before: PLAY AS GUEST on the same phone, Sign in with Google, Sign in with Apple, or "I have a recovery code" on a new phone.)
- Open the ACCOUNT tab and tap Delete account.
- Type DELETE and tap DELETE FOREVER.
You're signed out on every device, you leave your friends' lists, rooms and "Played with recently" at once, and we erase your account within 30 days.
Deleting is final: you can't undo it, and we don't undo deletions on request. If you sign in again with the same Google account before your old account is erased, the game starts a new, empty account. Nothing carries over, and your old account is still erased.
If you can't open the app
Email support@immersialabs.com with the subject "Delete my account", and include:
- your player name (for example, Bouncy Fox 42); and
- if your account is linked to a Google account, send the email from that Google address. We use it to find your account.
Before deleting, we may ask you for something only the account's owner would have, such as a screenshot of the Profile screen, so that nobody can delete someone else's account. We'll reply to confirm once it's done, within 30 days.
Guest accounts nobody can sign in to any more, for example after you lose your phone without a recovery code, can't be used by anyone. We delete guest accounts automatically after 12 months without signing in, unless they hold something bought.
For parents
If your child is under 13, you can delete their account in the app on their phone (steps above), or email support@immersialabs.com with the subject "Parent request". See section 5 of our Privacy Policy.
What we delete, and what we keep
- Deleted within 30 days of your request: your player name, title, favorite character, level, XP, totals, age group, season progress, Gum, Glowdrops and items (any Glowdrops left are lost), friends, friend requests and blocked players; your sign-in records and sign-in phone details; and your sign-in record at Google Firebase (Google says it then removes it from its own backups within 180 days). If you used Sign in with Apple, we also ask Apple to cancel that link. If you've signed in again with the same Google account, that sign-in record stays, because it now belongs to your new account.
- Kept, but no longer linked to you: your results in matches you played, so that other players' match histories stay complete. We remove your account ID from them, so they no longer show who you are. Reports you made about other players stay until they're deleted (section 8 of our Privacy Policy), without your account ID. Records of anything you bought are kept without your account ID for as long as tax and accounting law requires (usually up to 7 years).
- Rooms you created: we remove your account ID and any room name you typed. The rest of each room record (its settings, and a scrambled password if it had one) stays, with nothing that points to you.
- Removed over time: server logs and backups that mention your account are deleted within 30 days after your account is erased. Our record of what our staff did on your account (which account, what was done, and when) is deleted 12 months after each action. Google Cloud, which runs our servers, says it then clears what we delete from its own systems within 180 days.
- Emails: if you emailed us, we keep the emails for 12 months after the conversation ends, then delete them. A child's email to us is deleted straight after we reply.
